We are a friendly, family run business based in Aberdeen & Newburgh with over 30 years of experience. Our team of qualified and approved electricians provide electrical installation and repair services for homeowners, tenants, agents and commercial customers.

Our team
Our team are experienced, insured, and up to date with the latest legislation and standards. We are proud to hold approved status from SELECT, the trade association for the Scottish electrical contracting industry.
Our apprentices are approved through the Scottish Joint Industry Board (SJIB) scheme.
Our founder, Keith, has always taken on apprentices in the business. Bringing through the next generation of skilled electricians forms a core part of who we are. Keith and the team enjoy helping them train, learn new skills and develop their careers.
Frances Watson
Founder and the real boss
Known as the real boss, Frances manages all our administration, from customer quotes to bookings, invoicing.
Frances is highly experienced in the business and will get you a quote as quickly as possible and arrange for your work to take place.

Founder and boss
Keith has been working in the industry since leaving school.
He continues to train and develop his skills, staying up to date with the latest legislation and standards. He has built up the business by developing long lasting working relationships with his customers and his team.
John Farquhar
Approved Electrician
John started with us in 2007 and is the longest serving member of our team.
He is a expert electrician with a wide range experience.
He keeps us up to date with the latest legislation and new certification.
Andrew Stevenson
Approved Electrician
Andrew, known as Abz, started with us in 2013.
He has a wide range of experience in working for different size companies from family businesses like ours to previous experience in large electrical contractors.
He also works with our apprentices, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
Dillon Farquhar
Apprentice
Dillon started with us in 2021 for work experience.
He is now an apprentice and is continuing to develop his skills as he trains.
Coby Watson
Trainee
Coby has worked from 2019 and continues to support the family business while he studies geology and physics at Aberdeen University.
He enjoys the hands-on side of the business alongside John and Andrew.
Top dog
Top dog has been with K.F. Watson for several years now. He is responsible for staff well being with a special focus on snack provision.
He ensures everyone arrives in time for work, although for the moment he is still a learner driver and is always accompanied when using our vans.

Free estimates & advice
We offer free estimates and advice for all sizes of jobs, from a changing a socket to a full rewire.
We try and do our bit for the environment
All our vans meet the latest EU emissions regulations
All rubbish / waste materials are removed and separated into different categories for responsible disposal using local companies:
- Lamps / bulbs - wholesaler
- Scrap metals
- Dedicated cardboard bin
- General waste bin
And all old storage bricks offered for collection free of charge.

Free to collect, some uses include - BBQs, greenhouse flooring, garden edging.
Scrap metals
These are stored and then cleared regularly by local companies for recycling.

We are a family run business established in 2004, with premises in Aberdeen and Newburgh. We have a fully insured team of well qualified electricians.
